Welcome everyone! This is the online discussion board for all participants in our July 04 weeklong DH skills camp in Fernie, BC. Please introduce yourself on the forum, add a photo or two, and tell people what you do when you're not riding (job, hobbies, etc...)
Formal studies have shown that camp participants have 34.8% more fun when they get to know their fellow riding buddies beforehand*

Hello everyone,
I just signed up for the DH camp and I'm counting the days until the snow melts and we can ride all that fun looking stuff!
I'm from Northern California and this will be my second riding trip to BC, I went to Whistler last year and realized all the stuff that I don't know how to do.

I'm Danika, your other coach. I know this camp is a long time away, but I'm so excited for it. Like Johanna, I love riding with women, and seeing all the amazing talent out there as well as helping people develop new levels of skill. If you feel like contacting me for any reason, please do!

I'm currently living in Maple Ridge, and going to school at SFU. I just started track riding (not racing - yet!) and it's been really great finding a new experience in the cycling world. But I cant wait to get back on my DH bike (just got my shock rebuilt and I'm going to steal my boyfriends bike - muhahaha - until I get my new one later in spring).
Looking forward to seeing you all when the sun is finally shining and we are on our bikes looking down one of the best trails in the world...
